Pick up any newspaper or surf the net and you’re sure to find many advertisements for pups of all breeds and types. Many are from good breeders with sound morals, but many are bred as a profit making exercise with little or no thought for the health of the pups or for the breed as a whole. At Laurian we will only breed an occasional litter and only with the right dogs with the right background. Hip scores and other health issues are important of course, as is the temperament of the dogs used in any breeding. But we also take care to ensure that the dogs are also a good example of the breed and will benefit the long term development of the Northern Inuit Dog breed. We will only rehome pups when we are happy that their new home and owners are suitable for their long term well being. We will discuss and create a contract that will suit both parties before any rehoming agreement is reached. And it doesn't stop there either. We remain on hand throughout the entire life of the dogs, and beyond, to offer help, advice, support and friendship to the new owners. All in all we want our pups to be given the best possible chance to enjoy a partnership with their new owners, a lifetime of unrivalled fun and fulfilment.

Unfortunately our gorgeous breed is not yet recognised by the Kennel club, ths process takes much time. There have been a few clubs and societies who have attempted to create registers and consistancy within the breed, with varying degrees of success. However, those who are familiar with the dogworld will appreciate that there is a lot of bitchiness and politics within such societies which can often hold them back. In the past, we at Laurian have attempted to contribute to such societies but the infighting and self preservation of some members made us think twice. We have now distanced ourselves from these groups and simply consentrate on looking after and enjoying our dogs. If we need help or advice we seek it from qualified people, vets etc. That said, we still believe that it is important to record and regster all our pups. This will be done via the Kennel Club and we will also include a pedigree certificate with all our pups which will detail parentage etc.Our pups will also come with a Puppy Pack which includes free insurance, food samples, pedigree certificate and a lifetime of support and advice.
