Laurian Northern Inuit

There are many, many reasons why you might choose a Northern Inuit Dog as your companion. The most obvious is their head turning looks. Who could fail to fall for such a stunning animal. Everywhere we go we are stopped by people amazed at these beautiful dogs. But it's not just their looks that endear them to us. There loyalty is unrivaled, their pack instinct creates a bond with the family like no other. They are the most loving, gentle giants that you are ever likely to meet.

They are such versatile dogs too, and if you are willing to put in the effort, these dogs will repay you tenfold with their ability to adapt to all sorts of lifestyles and leasure activities. They make the most beautiful show dogs, they make great walking/hiking companions, they will pull a rig as well as any Husky might. Agility is another posibility and some have even became companion dogs. We currently have Tikaani, who is learning some gundog training and doing very well too, although retrieving is not a natural instinct he is more than capable of flushing pheasants and the like. There really is no limit to what these grand dogs are capable of offering in their quest to please you and enjoy their life with you.
